Job Description:
- Carrying out various tasks in the port, including loading and unloading ships, handling goods and containers, and assisting with maritime operations.
- Working in warehouses where you are responsible for receiving, storing, and picking goods, with the possibility of using automated systems and machinery.
- Assisting with logistics processes such as order picking, using machines like forklifts, reach trucks, etc.
- Operating various machines and equipment when necessary.
- Performing manual labor when required, such as lifting, stacking, stuffing, and stripping, along with machine use where possible.
Person-specific competencies:
- Willingness to work in different environments, both in warehouses and port areas, focusing on manual work as well as operating machines.
- Flexibility and adaptability to perform various tasks based on the client’s needs, with attention to efficiency and safety.
- Experience with operating machines is a plus, but not required.
- Willingness to learn and acquire new skills is appreciated.
- A team player with good communication skills who can work effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Willingness to work in shifts (day/evening and night shifts), occasionally including weekend work.
- Possession of a valid category B driver’s license.
