This training aims all personnel that has to lead other co-workers of a team port-workers.
The candidates are being selected out of a group of experienced port workers and have to specialize in the processes that lie behind the processes concerning the loading and un-loading of vessels. They have to be able to make calculations, to know the concerning legislation, to study profoundly the acting forces on a load, to read and interpret a cargo load-plan and to write reports. More over they have to prioritize the safety of the team and will be thought how to communicate the different aspects of safety.
The candidates need to have sufficient experience as a port worker to perform all duties perfectly.
They need to possess the required authority to lead a group of colleagues.
Their attitude has to be especially group and safety driven.
